      INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING / PSYCHOTHERAPY

      Counseling is about looking backwards, gaining insight, healing, and learning new approaches. Psychotherapy is about PRACTICING all that. Closely related, but different disciplines.

      DISCIPLESHIP

      ‘… make disciples … teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you’ (Matthew 28:19-20, ESV). This is a life-long process. While you’re working with me, we’ll do it together!

      SPIRITUAL FORMATION / SPIRITUAL DIRECTION

      Spiritual Formation is an intimate form of discipleship. Spiritual Direction is the practice of asking and answering very specific questions to attune you to where God is working in your life.

      CAREER & LIFE TRANSITIONS

      I have several career counseling resources I use to identify passions and differentiate between jobs, vocations, careers, calling, ministry, and vocational ministry.

      Changes are not just limited to job/career changes or relocations, but health changes, deaths, adoptions, unexpected pregnancies, discovery of affairs, divorces…

      Grief and creating Vision usually occur simultaneously in the work I do with Clients.

      INNER HEALING PRAYER

      This helping approach minimizes the role of the Counselor/Therapist and allows those who desire it to receive most directly, personally, and privately from the Holy Spirit. It is good to do this work WITH an experienced Counselor, however, because sometimes trouble-shooting what the Client feels is a ‘block’ towards God is necessary.
